End of Show, End of Year
The show came down over a week ago. A word of appreciation to all of you who were involved and for those of you that came to the reception. It was great to finally see the fruition of this direction in my work.
Memories from a Radio: Of Daughter’s Arrival and Father’s Farewell was dedicated to my dad, and already many of the memories represented in the paintings have slowly been taken over by the images in the paintings themselves. Since I often revisit a memory, I wonder what that means to the future paintings that come from the same memories.
It was a damn good year, and I have a feeling the next one will be even better. Happy New Year!
