Excised Catalogue Pages
I just sent for a proof copy of the exhibition catalogue for July’s show at FireHouse Gallery. As I was designing it, I came up with this diagram in order to give an idea of what I had in mind for the layout of the show.
These two pages were supposed to clarify the configuration, and they were going to be placed just before the pages of the actual artwork. After working on this thing for four hours, I thought I got it just right. I asked around for opinions, and it was a unanimous dud for everybody. Consequently, these are two pages that didn’t make it into the final book (despite the four painful hours).
